Welcome to the world of boutique fragrances! We are very honoured to be able to offer the fragrances created by the designer, Sarah Barton-King(pictured right with some of her fabric designs and left, with Princess Anne) in collaboration with famous "French noses". Sarah originally sold her accessory designs for shoes, bags and scarves into the world's leading prestigious retailers in eleven countries through about 40 luxury stores. These include Takashimaya, Barneys(NY & Tokyo), Saks Fifth Avenue and Nancy & Co in New York. The client list has included Liberty of London, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Le Bon Marche. The Pink Room then debuted in London's Notting Hill in 1997. Sarah's 'petite Versailles boutique' opened, winning The Draper's Record award for new small shop and many other mentions. It soon became a centre for the fashion cognoscenti, stylists and press who featured many of her designs in their own style books. The Pink Room also attracted a visit by Anne, Her royal Highness, The Princess Royal, as well as substantial press attention.
Parfum No 1 Sarah Barton-King worked with Guy Roberts, one of the great "noses" of the world, to create this jewel of a scent. Complex, yet soft, like floating layers of silk chiffon, it truly smells pink. Not cotton candy pink, but the pale blush pink of a creamy cashmere sweater, the luminous pink of a rare pearl. Parfum No 1 Notes: lemon, sweet fruits, bergamot, victorian rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, violet, vanilla, moss, musk.

Acknowledging the great writer Colette, this story is about the Gigi in all of us.
